aespa <Supernova (Grimes Remix)> MV (The Other World Ver.)

aplan-company took part in the production of aespa's <Supernova (Grimes Remix)> music video, The Other World Ver. Projection mapping built backgrounds live on set, so scenes were made within real light and real space rather than composited afterward. Mapping content was produced around the artists' blocking and the lighting design, creating a structure in which performance and image respond to each other. The core of the work was rendering, in light, a spatial register apart from the real world to match 'The Other World' concept. It shows how stage technology can become the language of a music video.
