TAGO 레퍼토리 <율고>

TAGO's repertoire piece <Yulgo> is a stage work built around the melodic line (yul) and the drum (go) of traditional Korean percussion. aplan-company handled stage direction and projection mapping, converting the rhythmic structure of the playing into visual patterns applied to the stage backdrop. The flow of the imagery was designed around the players' movement and points of impact, so sound and image move on the same beat. Media staging was joined to a traditional percussion performance only to the extent that it would not dilute the density of the playing itself. It is a work that makes a rhythm visible to the eye.
